Leviton introduces the latest addition of its new wireless sensor to the LevNet RF Wireless Self-Powered Solutions line. Wireless self-powered technology means zero power consumption and zero external power required. Easy to install and maintenance-free, LevNet RF Wireless Self-Powered Solutions save ongoing labor and material costs while saving energy.

The latest sensor features angled solar cells for optimal light collection to power the sensor. An advanced field-of-view provides superior detection for parallel and perpendicular motion. Innovative sensing technology detects motion moving directly towards the sensor. Combining occupancy sensing with wireless and self-powered technologies, Leviton‟s latest innovative line offers energy savings on top of labor and material savings. The self-powered wireless sensor design also overcomes the placement and coverage challenges of traditional sensors. Self-powered wireless sensors enable flexible placement allowing sensors to be mounted wherever needed without the complexity of moving or installing new wiring.

The solar cells provide power to the LevNet RF Sensors, resulting in zero-maintenance wireless devices. LevNet RF The LevNet RF line includes multiple products that operate in the uncrowded 315MHz band offering greater transmission range (Up to 100 feet) than other wireless technologies and minimal competitive traffic. Zero Power Consumption: solar power provides the energy to keep the device on and sensor technology turns the lights off, eliminating additional expenses to the end user‟s energy bill
