中国照明产业“大而不强”隐忧浮现
业界有着“世界第一大照明与LED展”的第16届广州国际照明展览会，俨然再次成为国内LED企业华山论剑之战场。不过繁荣的发展趋势仍然掩饰不住中国LED产业“大而不强”的隐忧。目前，国内LED产业发展的结构还是侧重于封装和下游应用环节，在上游的外延片、芯片两大关键领域力量显得较为薄弱。
Recognized as the world’s No.1 lighting and LED fair, the 16th Guangzhou International Lighting Fair now again becomes the stage for domestic enterprises to compete and communicate with each other. However, the prosperity of the surface cannot cover the hidden danger that domestic industry is large but not strong enough. At present, domestic LED, industries still focus on packaging and downstream application, and it is weak in two key fields of the epitaxial wafer and the chip.
大陆2012年将超越台日韩成全球最大LED产国
大陆厂商今年大举增购MOCVD设备，使得中国大陆可望于明 (2012) 年超越日本、台湾、南韩成为全球最大的LED元件生产国家。
Chinese mainland is likely to become the largest LED component producer by the end of 2012, exceeding Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea, owing to purchase a large number of MOCVD equipments by many enterprises this year.
亚洲LED照明产业必然经历一段混沌竞争期
亚洲LED照明产业步入黄金发展期，各企业积极进取的态度，为LED照明产业带来更激烈的竞争。传统照明企业积极开拓LED照明产品线；以半导体为主营业务的生产企业亦着力于LED光质量的提升；新兴产业快速追赶的步伐让先行企业不敢松懈。种种因素暗示着一段混沌的竞争期在所难免。
LED lighting industry enters the period of golden development in Asia. Enterprises are positive to promote more intense competition in LED lighting industry. Traditional lighting enterprises focus on developing LED product line, manufacturers with the main business of semiconductor strive to improve the LED lighting quality, and many new lighting industries comes out, all these factors together suggested that a chaotic competition is on its way.
杭州未来5年将大力发展LED照明产业
2010年，杭州市LED行业25家重点企业销售产值突破35亿。按照杭州市指定的发展目标，五年之后，杭州将完善半导体照明产业链，并且将扩充至200家企业，实现产值突破500亿元。
In 2010, 25 key enterprises of LED in Hangzhou achieved sales value over 3.5 billion. According to the goal set by the city government, five years later, Hangzhou will improve the semiconductor lighting industry chain, and expand to 200 enterprises with the total sales value over 50 billion.
